You can tell by the look of amazement on Kjirsten's face that cats don't usually receive this type of affection from Jerry, I think the cat is also in shock.
These are the kitten that were born on their birthday last year. Kjirsten's: Cocoa Bean and Jerry's: Scrambler (scram for short, who narrowly escaped being named Poop Stink.)
Kjirsten's room was decorated by her friends for her birthday while she was gone.
Kjirsten turned 12 this year and Jerry turned.....well, Jerry doesn't want to talk about it.
I made them a Cake that both could enjoy, not too pink for Jerry and not a carrot cake for Kjirsten. It was a hot fudge sundae cake with plenty of cherries and whipped cream.
