Virginia City

Our first stop on our vacation is the old restored ghost town of Virginia City, there was more there than we could do in the time we had and we would like to go back and visit it again, it's only a few hours drive from us. We rode the steam train over to Nevada City for lunch and went in to the restored city there, it had lots of stuff I would love to have in my antique collection. They had gun shoot outs and people walking around in costume that would tell you historical stuff. The restaurant that we ate in was also original, and a hotel you could stay in, looked fun. It felt very authentic, I guess because it was but it also made me feel creepy. They even had all the original artifacts all set up from the china town. They just had the little train running for weekdays, on weekends they have the big, real steam engine running, so we had to ride the little one, Joshua love it though. His first train ride!
